Product Detail

Propylene glycol, colorless transparent viscous liquid, odorless, slightly sweet taste, with moisture.  Propylene glycol has basically the same properties as glycerin, but less viscosity, toxicity and irritation than glycerin. It can also be used as an antifreeze for antifreeze aircraft and as a coolant in food.  It can also be used as plasticizer of alkyd resin, food additive, tobacco humectant, pharmaceutical solvent, ink additive and cosmetics, etc.  

Propylene glycol is often used in the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture various ointments, softeners, pills and other solvents.  In the cosmetic industry, propylene glycol is usually used as a moisturizer, softener, solvent, etc.
