Peculiarity

  Paraffin wax, colorless to white translucent block, pure paraffin wax is white, paraffin wax containing impurities is yellow, and tasteless, and greasy, and soluble in ether, and chloroform, and benzene, petroleum, volatile oil or a variety of fat oil, slightly soluble in ethanol. Chemically stable, does not react with acids, bases, oxidants and reducing agents. Under ultraviolet irradiation, the color will turn yellow, can burn and decompose, stable at room temperature.According to the different degree of refining, it can be divided into three kinds: full refined paraffin, semi-refined paraffin and crude paraffin. Each type of wax is divided into different varieties according to the melting point, generally every 2℃, such as 52,54,56,58 and other grades. Crude paraffin has a high oil content and is mainly used to make matches, fiberboard, canvas and so on.

Distinction

• The PROPERTIES WILL VARY, WITH highly REFINED paraffIN having a LIGHTER color, semi-REFINED paraffin having a DARKER color, and fully REFINED paraffin having a lighter color.
• Semi-refined paraffin wax is mainly used in candles, as well as crayons, as well as wax paper, as well as general telecommunications equipment, short circuits, light industrial and chemical materials.
